BRETT DANIEL, PE
Principal, CIMS Group Manager
Throughout his nearly 20 years in the heavy civil engineering industry, Brett has experienced the challenges of program management as an owner, contractor, and consultant. His experiences as department head, project manager, resident engineer, and contracting officer have inspired a passion for improving processes used in major infrastructure projects. This interest led Brett to develop data-driven digital tools that give project owners access to real-time construction and inspection data, allowing them to review and approve work with confidence. As group manager leading Horrocks’ Construction Information Management System™ (CIMS) development, Brett continues to research and refine program management processes to provide professional and comprehensive digital tools to meet the needs of each unique project.
PETER ANDERSON, PE
Construction Management Engineer
Peter is an innovator in the field of construction management. He has more than 6 years of experience developing and implementing tools and processes for complex construction projects. His attention to detail, organization, creative problem-solving skills, and industry experience have allowed him to excel in negotiating and solving complex construction challenges. His contributions to the CIMS suite include automating analytics for project leadership and streamlining data entry for field workers so contractors can simplify compliance requirements and avoid rework.
DERRICK SHARP, GISP
GIS Department Manager
Derrick has 15 years of experience as a Geographic Information System (GIS) programmer, manager, and senior analyst. He specializes in workflow automation, complex spatial analysis, and cartography. Derrick has worked with local governments and Departments of Transportation to plan, design, program, and implement GIS systems for a variety of uses. He has extensive software training and experience with a multitude of open source and proprietary GIS software platforms, including the full Esri suite of products, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online. Derrick also has experience designing and developing GIS tools and web mapping applications using JavaScript, VB.net, Python, and ArcPy.net. His expertise allows him to train clients so they can manage their own GIS data quickly and efficiently.
